Mechinno uses digital simulation techniques to carry out engineering analyses:

  • on composite materials
  • of fatigue behaviour
  • structural dynamic
  • thermal
  • kinematic and dynamic of mechanisms
  • thermal and structural CFD fluid dynamics, coupled and single-dimensional
The advantages of simulation, also known as finite element analysis, consist in the possibility of dealing with field problems:
  • defined on complex geometries, and this represents the heart and power of FEM methods
  • related to a wide variety of engineering problems (mechanics of solids, fluids, heat, electrostatics, etc.)
  • with complex constraint conditions
  • with complex load conditions
The stages that divide the analysis process into three stages are:
  • pre-processing is where the finite element model is built
  • actual analysis processing with the resolution of the problem to the finite elements
  • post-processing is where the solution is processed and represented
