To provide our customers with a comprehensive product development service, we have created Officine Mechinno, the Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing division of our company, where prototypes and assembly parts are produced. Here, it’s possible to conduct performance tests, requirements checks, and validation before moving to final production.

The Officine Mecchino occupy a facility with an area of ​​600 square meters and have dedicated specialized personnel. The adopted technologies are FDM and SLS:

  • FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology by Stratasys: a production process for physical objects, based on the layering of material starting from an extruded thermoplastic filament.
  • SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology by Formslab: a 3D printing methodology that uses a high-power laser to selectively sinter small polymer powder particles and transform them into a solid structure based on a 3D model.
